new stator,no spark,sore foot

can anybody help??i have a 1999 600 supermoto fe,i have replaced the stator and still getting no spark,new plug to.
the only thing iv achieved is bruising the hell out my foot from trying to start it.
its got no battery or switch,just good old kick and go,apparently :?
im new with the bergs so any amount of help would be great,
also is there anybody in the south of england or oxford that would be willing to try and sort/service it.

I had weak spark before/after rewired stator, hard to start or would not start at all. Then found hi voltage lead inside of coil loose. I was able to repair it. after these two repairs the old lady would start fine.

can I suggest that you bring it up and we swop stators and coils, and HT leads and p[lugs and stuff till you do?

just an idea but all you need pay for are the bits that we find are wrong?
